FAQ's

Is pelvic floor therapy just for women?

Not at all! While pelvic floor therapy is often associated with pregnancy or postpartum care, it's actually beneficial for anyone with a pelvic floor—which means everyone. We support people of all genders, ages, and backgrounds who are experiencing pelvic pain, incontinence, core weakness, sexual dysfunction, post-surgical recovery, and more. Our clinic is a safe, inclusive space where every body is welcome. Whether you're seeking support after childbirth, navigating menopause, recovering from top or bottom surgery, or just curious about your pelvic health—we’re here to help, with care that honors your whole self.

Do you provide trauma-informed care?

Yes! Trauma-informed care is at the heart of everything we do. We recognize that each person’s story is unique, and we approach every session with empathy, consent, and deep respect for your lived experience. Our providers are trained to create a safe, supportive environment where you are always in control. Whether you've experienced trauma or are simply nervous about starting care, you can expect to be met with compassion and understanding every step of the way.

Will I need a referral to be seen?

In Texas, you can be evaluated without a referral—but in order to continue care, we’ll need a referral within 10 business days of your first appointment. This can come from your physician, OB-GYN, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or even your chiropractor. Don’t worry if you’re not sure where to start—we’re happy to help guide you through the process so you can get the care you need without unnecessary delays.

What can I expect from my first visit?

Your first visit is all about you. We’ll start with a thoughtful conversation about your concerns, your goals, and what’s bringing you in—no pressure, no rush. If it feels right to you, we may gently explore how your body is moving or functioning to help guide your care plan. Everything we do is with your full consent, and your comfort and safety are our top priorities. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your body and a clear, personalized plan for your care moving forward.
